Experienced the frustration of hailing a cab. Scratched my own itch by founding a tech startup The Taxi Network to solve the problem. Led a team of 3 to create a taxi booking system (web and mobile app) from concept to production. Sold the software to taxi companies, generating recurring monthly revenues while helping many taxi users get home every night. My main roles are business development and sales. By optimizing app SEO, I've driven the app Taxi In 2 to the #1 ranking in the Canadian App Store under the search term "taxi".
Since 2009, I've been hiring and managing engineers and designers. Team culture is what I emphasize; Communicating with people of different personalities is what I do.
In terms of devices, I've worked on taxi security cameras, school bus video recorders, power system protection devices, and iPhones/iPads. My experience includes circuit analysis, firmware on FPGA chips, embedded software on devices, desktop software, and mobile apps.
Audio design, wiring, subwoofer enclosure... I'm not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty. I've worked on quite a few car audio systems and home theatres in the last 10 years.
A client mentioned an interesting concept for a Sudoku game. I responded with a prototype the next morning. Watch the Video.
I've always had a passion for interior design. From design to electrical wiring, I've planted what was in my head into my living room. View it here.
